The tennis Section is active all year round. there are six all-weather floodlit courts which can be played on all year round. The Tennis section enters men's and ladies teams in all the DLTC Leagues throughout the year.
Club Night is held every Thursday night, with Team Tennis events being held in autumn and spring each year. The Club championships are held from mid-July every year, with the finals being held on the "At Home" day on the first Saturday of September. During the course of the year there are round-robin and knock-out competitions held for those who want to take part, as well as Ladders for singles, doubles and mixed.
A Senior Open Tournament is run in late April each year, and from 2008 it is planned to run a Junior Open Tournament during the summer, and a Veterans' Open Tournament in late summer/early autumn.
From September to June there are group coaching sessions available on Monday and Tuesday evenings for a small fee. Individual coaching sessions can also be organised with the club's coach.
