Cricket is played during the summer months from April to September. there are seven men's teams, three ladies teams, as well as both boys and girls schools teams, played at under 9, 11, 13, 15 and 17 levels. Men's practice is on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights from 6pm. Ladies practice is on Monday and Wednesday nights from 6pm. Schools cricket for under 9, 11, 13 and under 15 girls is on Sunday mornings from 10am to 12pm, with additional practice sessions mid-week during the summer months. The Cricket Section has introduced a €20 junior cricket coaching levy for the season, which is payable with the annual subscription.
Taverners Cricket is played on Friday nights throughout the summer.
There are Cricket Indoor Nets, for both the men and the ladies, during the winter months.
